Double Deep Racking is a high-density pallet storage system where pallets are stored two positions deep, allowing greater storage capacity compared to standard selective pallet racking. By reducing the number of access aisles required, the system makes more efficient use of available warehouse floor space. It is particularly suitable for storing large quantities of similar products and is typically accessed using specialized reach trucks or forklifts capable of handling pallets at greater depths.
